Board of Directors

Sanjiv Ahuja – Chief Executive Officer and Chairman.  Mr. Ahuja has been the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman since April 28, 2010.  In 2007 Sanjiv founded Augere, a company delivering affordable, genuine wireless broadband to underserved customers in developing markets such as Bangladesh and Pakistan.  He is also the founder and chairman of Eaton Telecom, a telecommunications infrastructure company with a presence of 12 African countries.  From 2004 until 2007, Sanjiv was Chief Executive Officer of Orange.  Throughout this time, he served as a member of the board of Orange SA and of France Telecom’s Group Management Committee. During his leadership, the Orange customer base grew from 48 million subscribers to more than 100 million subscribers globally.  Prior to Orange, Sanjiv was Chief Executive Officer of Comstellar Technologies, a technology company that funded several businesses including Leapstone Systems and Mesh Networks.  He was previously president of Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore) and led the turnaround and sale of Bellcore to SAIC. Sanjiv began his career at IBM in 1979 as a software engineer. He has a degree in electrical engineering from Delhi University, India, and a masters degree from Columbia University in New York. He is currently a non-executive director of Telenor S.A.

Lawrence M. Clark, Jr. – Mr. Clark has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since March 29, 2010.  Currently he is a Managing Director and Director of Investments of Harbinger Capital Partners.  Mr. Clark is responsible for investments in metals, mining, industrials and retail companies, among other sectors. Prior to joining Harbinger Capital Partners in 2002, Mr. Clark was a Distressed Debt and Special Situations Research Analyst at Satellite Asset Management, L.P., where he covered financially stressed and distressed industrial, cyclical and energy companies.  He has actively participated in several financial restructurings in official and unofficial capacities as both a secured and an unsecured creditor.  Prior to moving to the buy side, he was a Vice President in the Distressed Debt and High Yield Research Department at Lazard Freres & Co., LLC and an Associate in Credit Suisse First Boston's High Yield Research Group.  Mr. Clark started his investing career as a Junior Analyst in the Corporate Bond Research Department of Salomon Brothers.  Prior to commencing his career as an investment analyst, he was employed by the Prudential Insurance Company of America.  Mr. Clark received an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from Villanova University.  He has completed Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation program.

Keith M. Hladek – Mr. Hladek has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since March 29, 2010.  Currently he serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Harbinger Capital Partners LLC.  Mr. Hladek is responsible for all accounting and operations of the funds and management companies including, portfolio accounting, valuation, settlement, custody, and administration of investments. Prior to joining Harbinger Capital Partners in 2009, he was Controller at Silver Point Capital where he was responsible for accounting, operations and valuation for the funds and related financing vehicles.  Prior to 2004, Mr. Hladek was the Assistant Controller at GoldenTree Asset Management and a fund accountant at Oak Hill Capital Management.  He started his career in public accounting at Anchin, Block & Anchin, focusing on audit and tax of financial services clients.  He has been a Director of Zap.com Corp. since October 7, 2009 and Harbinger Group Inc., (formerly Zapata Corporation) since October 2009.  Mr. Hladek received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Binghamton University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.

Peter A. Jenson – Mr. Jenson has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since March 29, 2010.  Currently he is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Harbinger Capital Partners LLC.  Mr. Jenson is responsible for all operational activities of the funds and management companies including, trade operations, portfolio accounting, valuation, treasury and portfolio financing, legal and compliance, information technology, administration and human resources.  Prior to joining Harbinger Capital Partners in 2009, Mr. Jenson held similar senior executive positions where he was responsible for finance and administration activities at Citadel Investment Group and Constellation Commodity Group.  Mr. Jenson was a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he was responsible for attestation and consulting activities across a broad spectrum of financial services clients including commercial and international banks, trading organizations and investment companies.  Prior to becoming a Partner in 1999, Mr. Jenson held a number of roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.  Mr. Jenson received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business, and has an Undergraduate Degree in Business from Deakin University. He is a Chartered Accountant in Australia, a Certified Practicing Accountant, and a Fellow of The Securities Institute in Australia.
